Striking runs in my blood. My grandad taught me how to throw a punch when I was just a kid. At 14 i remember running home behind his truck after hours of training at Baltimore Boxing club. Like the 2 hours wasn’t enough, I had to do more. It was what he instilled in me to be great. I had a lot to find out about myself as a teenager. Boxing became off and on at the gym while also juggling football. Sports have always been a part of my life. I took boxing home with me and always did the drills. At 20 yrs old I learned how to kick. That was it, I was addicted. Burmese boxing and Muay Thai now became part of my life. My brother joined me in the journey. Here I learned how to manage the consistency and dedication. watching him compete. Just had to balance everything else going on.
Long story short at 29 years of age I put everything else to the side and dedicated my life to the art of striking. I wanted to be the best on the eastern shore. I built a gym in my basement and got to work. While training at Bowman MMA, I Became a WKA national champ in 2021. Then 185lb IKF east coast champ 2021. Helping my teammates and making sure we always put in extra work. I slowly transitioned to coaching. Now at 36, I am dedicated to developing kids and adults to achieve their goals in this game. No matter what the outcome may be I will be right by their side and instilling that same mindset my grandfather did for me: HARD WORK
